Eve has the parents of Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. She has two younger brothers Jack as well as George and was educated between the United Kingdom and Los Angeles United States. She attended Bedales School before taking her A Levels at Westminster School London. She took English in St Catherine's College Oxford during her summer break. While in Oxford she was in student productions such as An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers (which performed at Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival) Scenes from an Execution as well as The Colour of Justice.
