Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to follow her love of acting. This contrasted with her previous desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she loved monkeys. The rise was swift for her to become a famous young actor. Her career began in earnest at the age of 1999 the year she first began performing professionally. After her studies, Tautou was a participant in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was born into an Catholic family and attended her church even though she attended school at The Institut Catholique de Paris. Apart from her acting work, she also pursued modelling. The model was in the commercials for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and is known as "The Chanel Muse". In addition to her acting career she is also interested in photography. The actress recently showed some of her photographs at the Arles Film Festival with the title Superficial. Her work focuses on celebrity as well as popularity. The exhibition also includes a series self-portraits and a special focus on journalists who have closely scrutinized Tautou following her rapid popularity following Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major part in the film Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office success, and received accolades at awards galas around the world. It's the highest-grossing French film to be released in the United States. Following this massive success, Tautou starred in many films which included British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
